Function

Studies have shown that 75% of the dirt within a building is brought in from the street outside whilst adhering to footwear. Efficient entry lobby matting and clean walkway carpeting can already capture over 80% of such dirt in the entry lobby of the building, thus leading to massive savings in building cleaning costs.

The entry lobby matting and the clean walkway carpeting from WOLLIMEX are constructed in such a manner that the deposit zones can accommodate larger deposits of dirt without such laying- or being directly visible on the surface.

Entry lobby matting

Entry lobby mats represent the initial cleaning stage in buildings and capture the coarser dirt right at the door. WOLLIMEX BROSSENMATTE and CARETAKER matting cause a so called brushing effect to be generated by the activity of footwear passing over the surface, due to the high proportion of extremely coarse fibres.

In cases where much dirt is brought into a building, the use of the CARETAKER dirt-capturing matting is recommended with its especially large deposit zones. In applications where a less degree of dirt impingement is experienced, but where a brushing effect is still required, the laying down of BROSSENMATTE from WOLLIMEX is a suitable alternative.

Clean walkway floor-carpeting

For entry lobbies and corridors, the WOLLIMEX clean walkway floor-carpeting products, SEVONYL GOLF, SEVONYL LINEA and GROBRIPPE are especially suitable. The street dust which is not captured by the entry lobby matting, can then be subsequently retained by the clean walkway floor-carpeting with it finer deposit zones.
