The CARETAKER product with a total weight of 3’250 grams per square metre and a coarse fibered, ribbed textured surface as well as with its high grade dustproof rubberised backing, is particularly suitable as a dirt capturing matting for larger impingements of dirt brought in from the street into school buildings and sports' arenas, for example. The activity of footwear passing over the matting generates a strong brushing effect from the large proportion of coarse fibres, which remove and capture coarse dirt and dust efficiently from the footwear. Coarser dirt can be accumulated between the ribbing of the CARETAKER product, so that cleaning intervals can be extended beyond normal, even where large impingements of dirt are experienced. A large colour range of 5 shades is available from stock and enables extremely flexible design possibilities in entry lobbies. The CARETAKER product can be laid down fixed or loose. In order to reduce the hazard of skidding and to effect the capture of fine street dust, clean walkway floor-carpeting should ideally be laid down immediately after the entry lobby brush-matting.
